In the Gospel of Mark Jesus said:
“Have faith in God”
Jesus came to teach us about the kingdom of heaven. More importantly, he came to give His life for us as a ransom (Matthew 20:28), paying the price we owed for our sins so that we could be forgiven (Romans 4:7). In the Gospels Jesus taught about having faith in God. In the letters of Paul he revealed that justification (meaning “just as if I never sinned”) is obtained through faith in Jesus Christ. We need to learn what faith is and how to have faith in God.
So why this blog? There are many Christian websites that explain the gospel clearly such as Got Questions or Compelling Truth. My hope is that this blog will give you an interest in learning more about having faith in God. If you are seeking truth and want to know more about what the bible teaches I hope these blogs will help. If you are already a believer I hope this helps you come to trust God more deeply.
The existing blogs go right through some of the letters Paul wrote. At the moment you have to start at the back and work forward as the blogs were posted by date. I hope at a later stage to rearrange them so you can work through a letter more easily. Romans starts here and you can use the arrows at the bottom of the blog to move on through the book. Links to the other letters are: Galatians , 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians and 1 & 2 Thessalonians then the rest you can find through the menus at the side.
Anyway hope you find something here that blesses you. Do email me is you want to get in touch at: firstname.lastname@example.org
God bless you and give you peace.
